After way too long, the house is sold & almost packed up. We'll be moving to Mt Dora Fl next month!!!! Now I need all of my Fl friends to tell me where to shop & what to be looking out for. What advice do y'all have?

Congratulations on the move. Enjoy the new area. I haven't been to Mt Dora but we are hoping to go to FL in May. Gonna head down towards the Everglades and just goof off. Maybe we can detour thru Mt Dora and check it out. We don't have a set plan - we just wander around as we go.

Love, love, love Mt. Dora. Lived in Orlando for 20years and enjoyed going to Mt. Dora to shop and eat--lots of good eating places that are small and intimate. Have fun.

I used to get emails from a quilt shop or pattern creator or SOMEBODY quilty in Mt Dora. Help me out, everybody....who used to invite us all to drop by if we were ever in Mt Dora?????

I love Mt. Dora. I really liked to go shopping downtown. It's such a unique place. They have two really big craft/art shows every year and I really miss being able to go to them. We lived in Orlando for 50 years and have a DD and her family in Leesburg.
