Finally my new refrig is here. With my arthritis and fibro I could not bend down to see what was in refrig or to clean it. and hubby not much help on this project. So continually had a dirty fridge (YUCK) and threw a lot of food away as if you can't see it you forget you have it.

Today my french door fridge came. Heaven on earth. Can see everything in it, shelves pull out, and not bending. Doing happy dance here.

It is a frig with freezer on bottom and double doors on the top.

We was really lucky and got it for 50% off if you put on Sears card. I put it on Mom's card and gave her the cash. Saved us over $1100.

Every time I go into kitchen I have to look inside. lol just like a kid with a new toy.

I have a fridge on the top, but not French doors. I will never go back to a freezer on the top for the very reason you said above - because you can't see what kind of food is in the bottom. Congratulations on your new fridge and for getting a deal on it!

Congrats! I like that kind of fridge a lot better, since I get into the fridge more often than the freezer.

Congratulations! I got a new refrig this week, too, but because my old one was dying a slow, painful death. I got the usual...freezer on the top. I felt like the side-by-side refrigs were much harder to use the space. I can't afford the new style. I hope you enjoy yours very much!!
