Yes, Nancy, I hate to see those huge snow piles in the parking lot. I know they eventually disappeared, but it seemed to take forever. I have projects lined up, but try to get out every day even if it is just to the gym. Being in my 70's, I always am afraid of falling and do the old ladies shuffle in the parking lots. Not looking forward to it at all.

Global warming.
(yeah, right)

Normally down here, I have my air conditioner on while cooking Thanksgiving and Christmas dinner and we never build a fire until after Christmas. This year, we've had a few mornings where I put on a light jacket! :) Loving it! Bring it ON!~

Bad winters usually follow hotter than usual summers. Hope everybody will be well prepared. Stock up the pantry and have some backup heat of some sort.

I'm not looking forward to all the white stuff, snow, ice, sleet, etc. We're supposed to get 4-6 inches of snow tonight. Unbelieveable even for New England. Brrrr. Glad I have my kitty and lots of quilts to keep me warm.

As we all know English Bulldogs have short hair--I am not sure if this is a sign of a bad winter or not but our Bullies fur is coming in much thicker this year than usual.

When I watched the US Farn Report, the weather person said that it would be colder and wetter than normal for most of the US. Texas and the Southwest was not included in that forecast. However, Kentucky was. Yuck! I don't mind the snow so much. It's the ICE storms that I hate to get. Just hearing the trees limbs and even trees breaking under the weight of the ice is scary. One barely missed my house last year.
