I usually use my gc for rulers or notions that I want but am too frugal to get. Of course, I wait until they are on sale!

When I get a gift card I buy things I usually can't afford. The past few years I've gotten a JoAnn's gift card from my BIL. I was patiently waiting for Christmas so I could buy Detroit Lions fleece @ $14.99 yrd for the backing of my quilt. Not going to happen, I got 2 scarves.
