Default Joey Pouches

No doubt you are all aware that much of Australia is being ravaged by uncontrollable bushfires and as a consequence much of our wildlife have been destroyed and injured. A plea has gone out for sewists to make pouches and wraps of various sizes to help in the nursing of those injured animals. Over the past couple of days I managed to sew up 15 pouches and 30 liners to go inside the pouches. The first photo shows the pouches and the second the liners.

That’s wonderful. Our modern guild is making pouches too.

Those are nice and so helpful and useful. I feel so sad for the animals that have been in this terrible situation. I am sure they are so scared and don't know where to go. Kudos to you for helping out.

I am sure these will be well appreciated by all. My heart is going out to everyone in Australia right now dealing with these massive fires. I am praying for rain and all the families and wildlife. Keep up the good work.

I think it would be better to give the money that it will cost to send these things. I don't know who is collecting things and how soon they would get there.

I live in Western Australia and our craft group started making these before Christmas . We have a lady in Perth who takes them from us and has them delivered to the Eastern States . Here in WA we have had a few bushfires but no real bad harm
