I have made many, many bags, large and small. We had some left over 1/4 inch plywood. (I think it's called luan) I made a template of the purse bottom, my husband cut out a piece of this wood and sanded the edges. I covered this thin wood with matching fabric. I can carry anything in my bags and they won't droop. This liner adds minnimal weight. I put it in the bottom of every purse I've made.
