Very small Nursie! We are only about 80 miles or so from there, we're 1 hour south west of Limoges.
That is so neat! She has only been there for a few days and has a horrible cold, but I hear it is beautiful country. (Also read something about being known for production of umbrellas) Hopefully she will feel better soon and can really enjoy all that beauty.

Merry Christmas!

So sorry she has a bad cold! Hope it disappears quickly and she really enjoys her stay. Yes, it is a beautiful region - but renowned for the cold in winter!
Now I've learned something because I didn't know about the umbrellas.

I just spoke with her and she is feeling a little better. She says that her friend has an umbrella from there and they are indestructible, but expensive, I think she said 86 euros, though there are less expensive versions at about 30+ euros.

It is awesome how much one can learn when surfing the internet isn't it! I am just full of trivial tidbits of info 8-)
