I, too, had a heart attack about 20 years ago. The only symptoms I had was a bad case of heart burn that I couldn't get rid off & being really irritated. My DH saved my life that night cause he said my color wasn't good. He made me go get checked at 1:30 AM & they said I had already had a heart attack the day before (no symptoms at all the day before) & was in the middle of another one then. They told him if he had waited till morning to bring me in, he would have found me dead. I thought the Drs were nuts. They were not able to do a by pass on me as that was the part that was damaged. So have just had to live with limitations.

This is a must watch for everyone. Last year my MIL was ill, I talke to her and she said it was just a stomach virus. The next day I went by and check on her and when I saw her I loaded her up in the car and drove straight to the hospital calling my husband to go find his day (we live on the family farm) and get to the hospital. She was immediately transfered to a bigger hospital and went straight in for a heart cath. Unfortuneately, she had had several heart attacks in the previous days and the damage was to far gone, she passed away 3 weeks following. My nephew that is in med school said to prevent damage, heart cath needs to happen within 1 1/2 hours from first pain/sign of heart attack.

Oh thank you, Ditter. I think most of us believe it won't happen but it can strike any age at any time.
Life saving advice.
