Kids PillowBed
#22
I made this for my grand daughter, and am making them for my grandsons for Christmas!
It's this simple... 2 1/5 yards of 60 inch fabric, and four standard pillows. I used Jersey Knit, fold your selvages under and sew them down.
Lay down inside out, folded over as a pillow sham is folded. But, just so a standard pillow will lay end to end across the folded fabric. Sew the ends closed.
Turn the long giant sham right side out. Lay out flat and nice, mark across at 21 inch intervals down to make your pillow cases for each one. It's 3 seams for four pillows. Sew on these marks across the right side of the fabric.
That's it! Slip your Standard pillows in and it's done.
They fold easy and can be tied with a ribbon to store or gift.

I saw this when you posted the pic the other day. Thanks so much for sharing how you did it. I want to make some of these for my grands, also. Sending just the sham with a gift certificate is a wonderful idea. Guess they will all be getting one for Christmas!

Thank you - Thank you -Thank you for this tutorial. I have all the pillows bought. I had bookmarked a tutorial on a blog to follow and when I went back to get it she had changed it and was now charging for her pattern. I appreciate you sharing so much. I want to do these for my grandkids.
