I have the spray in one. I love it. if we had the other kind where it was separate I think my husband would try to do that prank where they put an elastic on the sprayer so it shoots at you when you turn the water on. The spray in ones you can't do that so I love it.

I was hesitant with the spray in the faucet but LOVE it. It is 2 years old, no leaks and no problem going back into faucet. I have really deep sinks and a tall curved faucet - wonderful for filling big pots and washing your hair ...which my Mother finds embarrassing. Sink for food - bathroom for washing hair...not!

I am on my 3rd Grohe pullout (different houses). I wouldn't buy anything else :-) Well, maybe Moen - DH's favorite.

In this house we have Moen in the baths. Hansgrohe was a bit too spendy for this modest ranch house.

Not a faucet but I had an instant hot water dispenser added to my kitchen sink. I love it! It heat the water instantly to almost boiling. Perfect temp for anything you need to add boiling water to. I got the safety one because my grand was small. She couldn't turn it on. DH installed it for me, it's not a major job. Just need a space on your sink for the extra faucet.

We got the instant hot water dispenser. It quit working before it was two years old and no options available except to replace it (cannot be repaired). I loved it while it worked, but would not spend the extra money for it now. We have a cordless kettle for boiling water.

My BFF redid her kitchen over the summer and got a Kohler pullout at the sink. They have a hard time keeping it from falling out. At this point I don't even know how many times they replaced that unit, then picked a different style and replaced that once. I haven't heard her talk about it for a couple weeks, so it either stopped or she got tired of talking about it.

Based on her experience, I think I'd go with the side spray in my own house. AND they're much easier to prank the kids with. You know - put the rubberband around the handle so that when they turn on the faucet... ?

EDITED to add: She confirms she got tired of talking about the !@#$ sprayer...

I have the spray in faucet and I prefer it over the separate spray. One less thing to clean around on the sink area!
