Default Leaving for Pittsburg! Any advice on packing? Please?

    Hello y'all,
My daugther is leaving next Tuesday for Pittsburg, PA for work and will be there about 10 days.
Any suggestions on what to pack or how to pack? They are opening a new Bloom Grocery Store and her and others are coming to help get it opened. She is excited and just said, "I'm leaving in a week and have no idea what to pack" so naturally I thought of all my friends here! Figure somebody has live near by!

Space bags are great to use. You can get a lot into the suitcase in a lot less space. Just be sure to weigh suitcase to make sure you did not put in too much.

Where will she be staying and will she have access/time to do laundry?
Regardless, when I plan a trip I break the goodies into categories: Daywear, Nightwear,Underwear, Shoes,Cleaning goods, Maekeup, Medication, something to read. She will know if specialty clothing (getting dirty or going fancy) are required.
I plan as much mix and match to keep the count low. As it is, I usually have too much stuff with me and end up wearing the same thing over and over.

it's cold here in PA! Wear layers, hat, clothes, scarf, heavy coat. Some boots in case of snow or sleet or... It's been very cold and today the high was 32, now it is dropping and we are going to have rain, sleet and snow. It's winter in PA, enjoy!

Today in Pittsburgh, the snow is starting to melt, because of the rain. The temp can change over night. this morning it was 17. like Barbm said wear layers. But it is winter and we wear winter clothes. if in the city with the 3 rivers it does get windy and colder. Make sure she learns a little of the lingo (pittsburgheese).

take warm clothes. Lots of historic sites to see. Fun things to do like ride incline up to Mt Washington. Pgh is so large and has so much to do and good public transportation. Pgh is a large city of a collection of small communities. Friendly good people. If you like shopping, be sure & check out the Strip District, Lots of fun unusual ethnic shops. Also Lots of
steeler souvineers. Botanical gardens, University area interesting.

Are you flying into Pittsburg? They have the most awesome airport mall! Never been outside the Pittsburgh airport, but had a longish layover there and really enjoyed the mall. Its like a city in itself.

I guess I should have stated she and two others are driving up for NC. But main concern is the weather!
We haven't seen any snow here yet this year and it has only had spells of cold weather so far. She will be working
mainly during the day. They were told to be sure and visit the Mt Washington place. I did find out it is not a Bloom they are opening it is Bottom Dollar Food Stores. A division of Food Lion.
