Carrie, this state shuts down with a couple inches, can you imagine what it would be like with 15? We have had more than 5 inches of snow here. If we are lucky, we don't!! My son had to stop at Walmart today to get a birthday card, and he said the parking lot was packed, but the people were all over in the grocery section and bread and milk were almost sold out , and it wasn't even noon yert! You must not have been here in the 70's when we had snow and ice, river was frozen and food trucks couldn't get to the stores. It wasn't any fun kiddo, so don't wish too hard.
I had to go to WM to get a can of cream of chicken and the store was packed with ppl buying up the food. We are suppose to get a dusting tomorrow.
I am not form here, only been here for 6 years and the 1st year we had 10 inches at Christmas. I am from Cali. you know the land of no snow unless a freak storm blows thru. I don't let it stop me from doing what I want. I have a hubby that will drive in just about anything plus his job doesn't shut down because of weather.

Your sign says it all for me.....if we have snow flurries on Christmas Eve as we leave midnight service at Church, I am happy. No need to repeat itself throughout the coming months...

Stay inside and snuggly!
I am not a big fan of snow, having spent my younger years in Iowa and Nebraska. Don't care if I'm never in it again, ever. I have this up in my house all year long - it's hanging on the door that holds the wood for our fireplace.

I can enjoy it because I don't have to be anywhere today! So I'll be watching movies and working on some more quilting projects :)
I'm way up north so I missed the big storm ... it is very windy here today though, blowing around all the snow we got the other day (about 4").

I grew up in a snowy state 'Maine' but can go without. Just make it a quilting day.

I don't mind snow when all my near and dear are safely off the roads and home.

we're supposed to get a couple of inches where I live! Always happy to see snow. It only lasts for a day or two or three. If we had "Feet's" of snow for months on end ... well, I might feel differently. The way it is now, I can sip on a big mug of irish coffee and enjoy the view from my window. :-)

Those pictures could have been taken here. Not much snow yet but the wind is really whipping around out there! Nice day to be on the computer.

I"m in Wisconsin and we've got about a foot of snow so far today. I don't like snow. I'd like it if I didn't have to leave the house until it melts. I would love to stay in pajamas for the whole winter and just stay at home and sew!!!
