Hope the weather is nice here in Jersey this weekend so I can put DS#3 to work helping his father put up our door and window wreaths and string some lights over our front foundation evergreens. DH hates doing the decorations but I won't put up with his Bah Hubug spirit.

Having a problem with arthritis in my knee so maybe only one tree will be put up indoors. I do a fancy one in the living room and a crafty one in the TV room. Crafty one has ornaments made my our kids and grandkids and the Santa and Snowmen ones I've collected over the years. Haven't bought a Santa for this year but it's early yet.

Hope to take some photos to show when I'm done. May in Jersey

We will go after a fake tree this weekend and then I'll decorate. Usually I don't put anything up til after my birthday, but since I won't be here for Christmas, I'll at least get something up.
I would LOVE to get a real tree, but no way am I paying $100 for one that was cut a month ago and will probably only be good for a week or so before I have to start vacuuming needles, so a cheap fake one is what we will do.
Not sure if I will put up my Christmas Village or not. Will have to figure that out after tree is done. Actually, would have to find a place for it, and I really don't know where it would go......

Great Christmas tree. I'll post pictures when I get mine out as well. I have to have Turkey first though.

My DM brought over a most beautiful poinsettia for our table!

I'll post pics of Christmas decorations after this weekend (I hope to get them up then).

Swimmom, thank you for sharing the pic of your village. It is beautiful.
It takes me back to when we did "train yards" for the kids. Wow the nostalgia is overwhelming! Must say mine never looked that good!
    Thanks :-)
