It's a long standing joke around here, that my husband will get a boat in the driveway (where they're kept in the winter), when I get lights on the house!

I don't have a tree up but I am going to my Dads house for Christmas along with my kids & GK's. Also my sister will be there. I used to go all out at Christmas as far as decorating but I don't anymore. Especially since the kids are all grown. I love this time of year though with all the Christmas music & peoples yards full of lights & decorations. Gives you such a good feeling.

Beautiful pics everyone...we are still in the midst of the kitchen reno. Everything is done, except door handles the bargeboard panels and the tiling. We went out today for tiles, but it's too hot to do much else...the tree and the rest will have to be put off 'til midweek - I am finding it difficult to feel very festive in light of the chaos.

We went all out decorating our house. Here is a picture showing how we hung christmas bulbs from the ceiling with christmas ribbons.

This is a photo of our tree last year. This year we are going to Oregon for Christmas so we chose not to purchase one this year. I personally think this photo of our tree was the best we've ever decorated.
