Default llamas

Hi Just have a question. I raise llamas and was wanting to know if there was anyone who knew where I could sell their fiber. Thanks for any help

Let's see: you can try Etsy or Ebay. Get in contact with your local yarn store or Fiber Guild (ie. weaving, spinning) to see what trade show are in the area and when.

do you belong to any Llama groups?? I think there is one in Maine because there are so many people raising them. I googled llama fiber outlets and there seem to be several coops around the country -- one in the northwest

There is a yarn community online called Ravelry--lots of knitters and crocheters, but also quite a few spinners. They have a marketplace section where you could sell roving and fiber.

Is a llama the same as an alpaca? I visited an alpaca farm in NJ and they sell the fur on line.

I have a friend in Australia that cards it and uses it for batting in quilts and other stuff.
