I think you and hubby need to go out to eat and celebrate your beautiful new electric range.:)
I remember when I got my 1st dishwasher I would serve DH on paper plates he would comment that he bought me the dishwasher so we could eat off the good china…………….Now every time I use paper plates I tell him were using the good china tonight honey:). He must still love me because Nov 24 is our 49th wedding anniversary. :-D

congratulations on your upcoming 49th anniversary. I am working on our 44th. Sometimes it isn't easy but then most of the time is "the best ever' - as we vowed for better or worse, sickness and health, until death so us part. I have much younger friends who have lost their husbands. We are blessed.

I like gas, cost more, cheaper to operate and food cooks much better and faster. Electric is cheaper to buy, costly to operate. DD has an electric range, top has to be clean with special stuff so as not to scratch the top.
You have it now, best to just use it. I have bisque, new refrigerator 9 yo range.

That is really pretty - but what is it exactly? I don't spend much time in the kitchen - and would be happy to not even have a kitchen in my house!

Isn't it amazing the things that excite us when we grow up? I cried when they hauled away my old frig a few years ago, it had given me 25 years faithful service, but I did a major happy dance when the new stainless steel one with water dispenser and automatic ice maker arrived!

Very nice! I dont like the one I have now as the oven is smaller than my previous one, but until it stops working I will have to put up with it. I am glad for you.
