Default Looking for simple applique animals

Help I am looking for some simple applique designs or cats and dogs a friend could put on a banner she wants to make for the local humane society. I don't know where to start. I googled graphics and I am afraid they are to detailed for her to do.
My other plan for her is to color some designs and iron them on to a white background and then put a frame around it and put them on the banner like it is a picture. The banner will be about 4 feet so lots of room.

    Here are 3 sites:

    http://www.fatcatpatterns.com/free.html

http://www.freewebs.com/strolltheblock/ 2011(dog and cat BOM), is a free site but you need to become a member to get the patterns I think.

free coloring book pages have great pictures for appliques- all kinds of subjects- great resource any time you are looking for a simple drawing for an applique project. just type in 'free coloring book pages' and start browsing. I used to print them off for the kids to color when they came to visit- instead of spending money on books they would fight over- with the on-line pages they can each choose the same page- or any one they want...makes for fun, happy kids. that is where my nephew came up with his 'Critters' he used in that baby quilt I posted last month= free coloring book pages

I went that route awhile back. It's not that easy to find those simple outlines in coloring books anymore. I am referring to the cheap ones that kids color in, that we used to color in when we were kids.

Try cookie cutters. I saw a set of animal cookie cutters in the supermarket yesterday.
