Default lost camera in Alaska

This is a LONG SHOT. I was near the Edgerton Road between Chitina and McCarthy. I set down my canon digital camera somewhere. Last I remember having it was at Liberty Creek Falls picnic area. It has my cruise pictures on it! If you've heard of anyone finding a camera, or can suggest how I might search it out, please help me.

What a bummer. I always carried my camera around my neck so I wouldn't put it down and forget it. You might check with whatever organization runs this park or local law enforcement to see if anyone turned in a camera but odds are someone might have just walked off with it. Good Luck.

I live in Eagle River, way to far to go there, but I'd suggest you post on Craigslist in Alaska.
There are only two possibilities for that area, try duplicate postings in Anchorage and Fairbanks.
You might also try calling the Mayor or City Manager of the towns.

I hope this will help. About a week ago I saw posted on (I believe) facebook or craigslist (Corvallis, Salem, or Eugene, Oregon) a post about a found camera that had a young couple's pictures on it. I remember that the woman was a pretty lady with pale brown or dark blonde hair, maybe 30-35 years old? Unfortunately I also have really bad memory problems so I am not sure which I saw it on. If this sounds like the right one, let me know And I will see if I can find it again...?

I went and searched my facebook and found the post I refferred to. It is below. This camera was found washed up on a California beach. While searching I also found a site that might help you find your camera. Www.foundcamera.com They have pictures from the cameras posted so if yours is there, you can find it by your own pictures. I hope this helps you.

I was on facebook and saw an alert that someone found a camera in Alaska and thought that the owners may be from Maine. Interesting! Do you recognize anyone in these photos?
Found Camera, in Alaska, has pictures from Maine
I have been trying to find the owner of this camera, it appears they visited Alaska, but could be living in Maine, as seen on a license plate. Very nice pictures, a shame to lose them...trying to...
maine.craigslist.org

Could this be your camera? It is apparently listed in maine's craig list
