I had ordered some quilting items last year and never received them, despite there supposedly being delivery confirmation from the USPS. We finally got something worked out with the seller.

Guess what showed up in our yard yesterday - on a no mail day? Yep, my original package, dated June 22nd, 2010!!! I'd love to know where it was all this time, especially since this was not a small package.

Check the Delivery Confirmation again online. It might show something.

I had a package show up once 90 days after mailing. In perfect condition, so it's not like it got stuck behind/in some machinery.

Edited to add:
Oh, did the DelConf already show it as delivered?

Maybe a neighbor received it by mistake and they just came across the package. I'm being very forgiving in this answer. Glad that you have it, but what a mystery. You may never know where it has been all of these months.

Neighbor's closet?, perhaps it was left with them and they forgot about it?

Have you told the seller yet? I'm glad they worked something out with you, but I'm sure they'd help you wonder where it has been!

Probably delivered to a neighbor-who held it so long and was too embarrased to face you to deliver it! Only a guess. I also had a package delivered to a neighbor (the address on the pkg was correct-the driver must have been dislexic and delivered it to a house with switched around numbers. They promptly brought it to me the next day. I also got a package from Kohl's for someone that had my address on it-I looked the name up in the phone book (there were around 10 with the same name and initial) and finally located the proper owner. Her address wasn't even close to mine! Then the same week, we got a package for a house a few doors down from us. I think those drivers need glasses-or a job change! Glad you finally got yours!!
