I make some soaps too, just the melt and pour kind. I do make my own laundry detergent and have for about a year or so. Your soaps are so pretty, I love homemade soap.

very nice...I make goat milk and Vegan CP soaps myself, but do it all organic and natural...NO dyes in mine at all, nor any fragrances, just essential oils, flower petals, oatmeal and almonds are all I add.

DH and I are also CP soap makers- we've been making our own soap for over 10 years- and we do sell it, I have some on my Etsy site.
We do different scents, but unscented natural is the best. We don't add dyes or chemicals, only add rose hips as an exfoliant and preservative.

I love using the rose hips and calendula petals...and of course my lavender buds!Originally Posted by sharoney

How lovely to meet another soaper on here!! When I started soaping "just to try something new" I never thought it would become an addiction! But it has and it'll be with me always. I am always looking for the newest and coolest way to make a new soap. Do you belong to soapmakingforum.com?
We'll have to share ideas and thoughts. Wish you lived in Virginia!
