Default Lovely e-mail suprise from Quilting board

I opened my e-mail this morning and had a wonderful surprise.
Yesterday I subscribed to a couple of threads and I asked to have me notfied by daily e-mail, if there were any responses. I got one this morning and happily went to the Quilting board to read them. However, when I went back to my e-mails, I realized that all the answers to the thread were already in the e-mail itself. No need to go to the Board and look for them, if you are in a hurry.
Don't ever remember getting that before.
I am learning something new every day! Keeps me on my toes.

Yes!! I just saw that too. Saves switching back and forth time. Really like that.

I think once we have this all figured out, we're going to love it! I'll have to try this one.

That seems like a nice feature but I prefer to keep my email to myself and only give it out to those few I want to have it!!! I try to keep my email account for "personal" correspondence etc. Does anyone know if the email shows up for anyone to see??? Please let me know thanks cheryl

I just checked and the e-mail was directed to me. The quilting board has your e-mail already when you joined, so it isnot any different then getting your daily announcement from them. Just remember, anything you put out on the internet can be found by the bad boys (and girls). I took a gmail e-mail adress just for all my quilting stuff, so my husband does not have to deal with all this and he has the "family e-mail site".

I also received one earlier this week and did the same thing of not realizing I could read about it in my email . I really like that feature also. Can't wait for some kind of a formal tutorial for us to follow to learn how to navigate the new site.

I was so hoping this would be added when we moved! Now I can keep with what is going on here when I'm away from my computer. Great feature. I hope it also applies to PM's. If you have your PM settings set to get notifications you can read the PM in your in box instead of having to wait until you can get to the board. Love it!
