do you get other craft/sewing magazines? I love ALL sewing and was looking at other magazines, instead of just quilting tonight at the book store. Sorta of liked SewNews and Sew Beautiful..anyone get those? do you really use them??

Threads is my favorite, though, I don't rarely sew clothing.
I really enjoy the vintage item usually shown in detail on the back. They also cover more than clothing -- many accessories, even quilting once or twice when I've looked them over.

I love Sew Beautiful..the only other crafty mag I take. I don't sew clothing like I once did but am thinking expected granddaughter might change that...lol.

don't be so rough on yourself Jan..it was LATE and your brain was tired..hehehe

On occasion I have bought Threads...some things are nice, but like you I don't do clothing any more..maybe a jacket or top, but not often!
I am leaning towards the Sew Beautiful magazine...just tired of the quilting mags...I like to sew more than quilts!

I used to get Threads, but decided that 1. I wanted to spend my money on quilting magazines, and 2. it's a more advanced sewing magazine than I'm really interested in. I'm not really into haute couture and ultra-tailored clothes, although I do appreciate items that fit well. I'd LOVE to have subscriptions to a couple of the Australian quilting magazines, like Australian Homespun, but  holy cow  they're expensive!!!

I get BH&G. Still read it cover to cover. But, that's the only magazine I get besides a couple quilting mags.
