Default Magic Erasers

While I like what they do as far as cleaning goes, I really do not like that they break up so easily!

Anybody got any hints to make them last longer?

From what I understand about them is that they are baking soda based and designed to dissolve. I don't think there is a way to make them hold together. Water dissolves them. I love them too.

think toverly is correct--not made to "last". But they sure work well on walls, etc!

They are the best for cleaning my Corian sink in the kitchen. I buy a pack of them from Sam's. It comes with a handle and several pads. It makes them more economical.

Seems like once you wet the pad it's only good for one job. If I know that I won't need the whole pad, I break off a piece.

Unless I am doing a large cleaning job, I only wet a corner of the sponge. As long as it stays mostly dry, it holds together.

A friend of mine always tears hers in half before she uses them. I just use one corner at a time.

I am with some of the others. I just a corner at a time, that makes them last longer.
