Wow, it is so hot here that in today's paper...it says some schools closed down and sent the kids home because they were so uncomfortable. That has never happened here before! It has been mid 90's all week.

It has been hot here in NY too. I am really very close to Vt and Maine is about a 5 hour drive for me to Portland area.

It is supposed to break today with Earl pushing the pressure system with this heat off. I suspect in a month or so we will be missing the warm weather.

been hot here in VT but have had a little breeze, and not humid, so not as bad as earlier in the summer. Of course we had put the fans away already.
Just staying in and doing some quilting.

That's funny that it is hotter in Maine than in Illinois. We are a beautiful 70 today. It looks and feels like fall.
