Glad you had a nice trip. I love it up there on Mt. Desert Island. The Ellsworth Marden's is on of the best, in my opinion, and I'm guessing you made it there.

Yes, I went to the Ellsworth Marden's at the end of the first day on Mt. Desert Island. The second Marden's was in Brewer. Almost done washing the fabric I got and will post when finished. At the Brewer Marden's they had cotton batting that they had cut and bundled. It felt like Quilter's Dream batting so I grabbed a 36" X 90" piece for some upcoming projects- runners and placemats.

I love Mardens. Don't get to wander far, but often check out the fabric department in the Waterville store. The only other one I have been in is the Brewer one and both have great departments. I am glad you had a great trip and also glad you got to check out Mardens. We may not have great stores like Hannocks of Paducah which I would love to check out, but our Mardens fabrics are pretty decent too for a great price. Can't wait to see your pictures.

Nice haul!!! I love Maine- we went when our kids were young. Went to Acadia, LL Bean, had a blast! I love New England so much. Been there many times.
