Has anyone else heard about this? I guess I spend too much time on the QB, because I can't remember the last time I watched or read the news...LOL.
My sister warned me, since we commute to work together.

Yeah, I just heard about the storm this morning. Guess the midwest is really going to get hit hard and then its moving across to the Northeast (wonderful)! Sounds like everyone is going to get several inches (again)!! :(

My sister emailed me to warn me about it. So we will probably just put in for "vacation" days so we won't have to struggle in it.
We are both mortified at the thought of driving in bad weather conditions. We do it as much as we can, because we have to, but I think this one is going to be like an "excused absence"...lol.

Here we are suppose to get 12 inches!!!!
AND ice... I went through a nasty ice storm in 2005! No power for 9 days but we survived it!!! No heat as we couldn't run furnace as it has a fan on it. Hubby hooked up a battery to computer so we could use it a couple hours a day & made coffee with the battery too!
Generator was used to run the fridge & freezer, but as I said... we survived once we got all the frozen downed tree limbs out of our driveway!
