Default Make a Snowflake for the Students of Sandy Hook

Hello all (moderators pls move this to the appropriate topic since I didn't know where to post this...blush)

I got this info from one of the yahoo groups I am in. There is a free embroidery design (free standing lace) by emblibrary until January 10th so every person with an embroidery machine can make a snow flake ornament to be sent to the Sandy Hook PTA because they are welcoming the kids back to school with a winter wonderland theme. You can read all the details thought the link.

Here is the first one I made and it is the first time I try FSL and I think it looks good

It was really easy to make but next time I will use the larger size. I made the middle one but I think the biggest will be best to do.

I got an email from my DGD's school about making paper snowflakes, but I didn't think about FSL ones. Thanks for the info.

I don't know what the problem was but I made the smaller one and my thread kept breaking and breaking and I have given up on this pattern. It turned out ok lookking. But i had to babysit and rethread for 31 minutes...I'll look at the other patterns. Its a nice gesture to send.

Got' em downloaded. That's a good thing to do this afternoon, while I've got other things going. These can embroider themselves while I clean! Thanks for sharing this pattern for such a worthy cause.
