I am going to assign partners on 11 April. I want the dolls to be mailed out beginning 25 April and no later than 1 May. That give us almost 4 weeks. I really think these will go together super fast for everyone. Probably a lot faster than everyone thinks. I've made them before, and I'm pressed for time, and I really think they'll go together fast for us all!

Another hint: Most of the faces are just a little circle cut from felt. I've used beads, stitches, and paint for my eyes, etc.

I posted this pic on another thread, but incase someone missed it, I'll post it again. This is a Dotee PamH made for me (for being a good swap host). You can see by the marks on the ruler behind it, that it is just about 6 inches not including the hanger or tail.

I always want to spell it Dottee. :?:

Here is a picture of a Dotee I received in a Halloween swap. The maker said she made it like her son's Halloween costume. I took the pic with the gluestick to show the size bc I didn't have a ruler handy. It's just a small size gluestick.

Yea Dotee Dolls I love them... They are so addictive.. I got 4 hanging from my shelf going out this week on swaps.

And yes like Miranda said they are fast to make I can make one in a couple of hours from start to finish. Once you start put to them together they take on their on little personality.

I'm in! I have some ideas. Thought of one for the Derby and a cute one for flowers, now I think my brain may bust if I can't do either one, LOL! I'm thinking whatever you all decide is fine with me and I'll make the other for one of my neices:)

Ok as usual I'm behind the other posters. I've never done a Dotee doll, I can't wait! The one in the link with the baby is sooo cute. So sign me up!! This is good because I ran out of the fabric for the skin and was thinking I might make my next doll in either pink or pale blue if I didn't get to the store. I really hate not having a fabric store near me, no car either:(

OK, I made one but mine is pretty big. I didn't measure but probably closer or a tad over the 8 inches. I don't want to reveal any of my "secrets" but, I hope everyone has an open mind
