We just got a Wii and I was wondering if anyone recommended the Wii fitness package. It is pretty pricey but i would love to have something to use to work out with during the winter. Is it worth the money? Do you recommend something different for the Wii?

I've got wii fit, wii fit plus and biggest loser. I would recommend getting the wii fit plus to start as I got bored with wii fit. It's great fun, great for a laugh when you have friends around too!! Lol !!! If you are serious about getting fit though, biggest loser is better, and there are other fitness training ones which push you harder :)

I had the Wii stuff and switched to Kinect. Although for fitness, nothing beats P90X. Unfortunately there's no video game for that.

I have wii fit and wii fit plus. I have to admit, that I havent used the wii fit in quite a while as I have no room to put the balance board since my living room is VERY VERY tiny. But when I did have room to use it I loved it alot and I was able to lose a few pounds. I took our wii and the wii fit over to my husbands cousins back in October and we had a Wii fit party. We had more laughs then you could imagine. We are hoping to do it again soon. I rented the biggest loser game, and never got to use it which kind of made me mad. But oh well. You will like any of them that you get.

I just signed up for "Spark People.com" Everything is free, although I did buy the book and the two dvd's.for not a lot of money on Amazon (+ shipping was free). I have used the dvd's and will have to say these are the BEST dvd's I have seen to use. And the meal plans are easy to use and change around if you do not like some of the food. You might want to check it out!!

I also have the WII Fit Plus and just love it. Another good workout disc for the WII if you would like the dance ones is Just Dance 1 and 2. These are fun and really give you a workout just by trying their dance moves. :)
