I met Dick DuPuis at the Hill 'N Hollow Quilter's Guild Quilt Show in Mountain Home, AR today. Many of you know Dick (RDuPuis) from this board. Dick lives near Mountain Home and, while I have corresponded with him, I'd never met him until I saw him at the show. I recognized him from pictures that have been posted on the QB. It was great to meet a QB friend.

And, no, the quilt behind Dick is not one that he or I made but it did make for a nice backdrop to his picture.

Oh How fun ! Was he surprised you recognized him ?

Yes, sharon b, he was surprised. He first said that didn't know how I would recognize him from his avatar picture (but you would). When reminded that he had posted pictures of himself and his family and of himself during recovery and while making his Grandmother's Flower Garden quilt, he understood. By the way, Dick said that he still needs to add a border to his GFG quilt but that the piecing is almost complete. Can't wait to see it. He also said that he thought that he might join the Hill 'n Hollow quilt guild which is the guild that I belong to and the show that he was attending.
