    ... I was able to fix my hair this morning with a pretty comb. This time last year I was completely bald from chemo. It grew back really slowly (although a lighter color and less gray, which I like!) ... and FINALLY I have enough to do something with :-)

    Hair is a big deal. I'm glad you are now able to style it. I'm sure that made your day brighter.

    Actually, you all are right. I shouldn't downplay it. It IS a big thing, to finally recognize myself in the mirror, too!!!! Even men who lose their hair with chemo have a hard time with it. I've talked to several.
