I have seen video of a giraffe being born before but never saw the nudging that this Mom did. She knows she has to get her "little one" moving pretty fast because predators might be around waiting ..... well, not at the zoo but in the wild. Thanks for posting this.

Awesome. What amazes me is the Mama Giraffe did not seem to be in any pain. I'm sure she was.

that brings back memories ,I went with my son to the Madison, WI. zoo and we watched a baby giraffe get born
my that was along time ago. it was a very special field trip. They didn't think she was due yet.
Nature knows.
