My avid sports fan of a son was three years old when he heard the Veggie Tales lyric " our God is above all men."

My little guy thought it was "our God is a football man."

I don't remember who sang it....but the lyrics as I thought they were:

"bottle of wine.......boot it up fine" actually were "bottle of wine.....fruit of the vine".....yikes what a dope!

I also loved the BG's song called "Tragedy".......when it came to that part where they actually said "tragedy".........I just sang........"da..da..da".......when I was over 50 years old......someone sang it with the word "tragedy"....boy was I bowled over.........all these years singing "da..da..da"! ! ! ! !

Soooo glad someone else mis-hears things! I always wondered who Leslie was when the song said "You and Me and Leslie" (endlessly). Back in the 70's our daughter sang about the "angels aquariums" (age of aquarius). and of course you can "roam if you want to" or as I thought "Row Misty Runthrew" and didn't know who that was!
