Some of you may have been following Molly the Barn Owl. She and McGee came back for a second clutch this season, and the first egg is piping. You can see the piping hole, and hear the owlet peeping.

Also, Molly will be on the NBC nightly news on Saturday, at 6:30 Eastern, and 5:30 Central time. Check your local news for the appropriate broadcast times.

My grandson who is 4 years old did his first "owl watch" tonight. He told his mother he would dream about owls.
I wish school was in session because I would have all my students on "owl watch". They would love it.

Sharon, I have Firefox too, and don't have any problems. And the link is good, I just tried it. Sometimes the cam goes down or gets slow. Or try this link:

How amazing...thank you. I love owls, don't see many hereabouts, but I have seen our little native Mopoke Owl. Thanks again for the link.

You're welcome. There are a whole lot of us with MODS! (Molly Obsessive Disease) :P :P

Carlos Royal, owner of the box gives love reports several times a day. And there is even a childrens book that was written about Molly. You can buy it as an e-book (the hardcover isn't out yet) here. There is also a DVD documentary about the first clutch. And lots more!

    That is so cool!

We had a bear dencam in northern Minnesota, keeping an eye on Lily the Black Bear. She had a cub while in the den ... named her Hope ... that's what my avatar is. There is a long story about Lily and Hope, sometime I'll try to tell you all about it. Her website is http://www.bear.org. I was just addicted to that site.

Wonder what the names will be for this clutch.
