I'm wearing a warm house coat this morning and slippers. If there's snow up there we will be having frost down here any day now.

Last night we went down into the 40's. This morning someone joked about it snowing on Sunday arrrrgggghhh!! too early! Although, the trees along the rivers are already starting to turn color. Inevitable, I guess.

Here in Tulsa, Tuesday it was 101 degrees, Thursday the high was 62 and this morning it is 57. What happened to fall? I definitely prefer the heat to the cold!

I am not ready for the cold to set in.

This morning I needed to turn the heat on, as the overnight low was 45°.

I have a gazillion tomatoes on my plants... I was hoping that they would turn before the cold got here. :(

I am grateful for the cool down. Summer was miserable. We broke a heat record with 99º on Tuesday, high was 71º on Wednesday, Thursday was 61º and today is 54º right now with some rain here and there. We will be back in the 70's tomorrow and low 80's next week. I am grateful for the cooler weather.
