Has anyone made a mug bucket? Are they difficult? Are there any free patterns out there? I haven't found any. The only ones I have found you have to pay for. I found the mug buckets at Black & Decker outlet for $2.99 and was tempted to buy one and take it apart because I figured it was cheaper than buying a pattern. Figured you just measured the mug but wasn't sure about the loops on the outside. Are they tapered? Closed at the bottom? Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

I'd like to see a picture of one, I don't have any idea what you are talking about.

I've made the one with the ice cream bucket which is really handy, I had the pattern but think I loaned it out... at one time Nancysnotions.com had a pattern for the coffee cup holder called the pinafore mug or something like that....

I bought the Simplicity pattern (2450) at JoAnns when it was on sale for $1. But I haven't used it yet. Simplicity patterns are on sale 5 for $5 this weekend.

They made one with an ice cream bucket on Fons and Porter ... the pattern is on their web site.
