I have lost my identity on this Board and I can't seem to get it back. I can see it; but can't get to it. I am not "Maggiesmom" on this Board, I am "McQuilter" I have been on since 2009 a "regular here" and am involved with several swaps and have been listing items for sale and PIF's regularly. I need to get my identity back to follow through on committments I have made...but I can't get to even my PM's where people have contacted me.

During a thunderstorm I accidentally used the log-out feature on the Board instead of my browser log out. I had to log back in; but can't remember my password from way back in 2009. In Jan I changed my e-mail address and they said they couldn't find my e-mail. Well I had asked for password help and if they were using my old e-mail address I wouldn't get it....I am at a loss as to what I can do. HELP!!!!!!

I guess they didn't understand you DON'T have a password to get into your old ID.

Write to Admin - under this new ID, and they'll be able to get you back up and running.

No help there...I have tried everything I cn think of. Admin keeps sending me messages at maggiesmom not for McQuilter....I think I will close out maggiesmom. I only did it because I needed to get into the Board to try to get help.

when we forget our passwords we have to provide the email address we used when we signed up in order to get the reminder. that's a security measure in place to protect us from hackers and hijackers..

if we can't remember that eddress, or can no longer access that mailbox, our only alternative is to give up our old board account and start a new one.

A real "live" admin/moderator will see it eventually or you can pm one of them and explain your predicament. It sounds like you have been trying to use the automated "forgot password" but you really need a (wo)manual password reset. ;)

Nevermind. I see that one of them found you! Good luck!
