Love some of these suggestions! Zoey was one of the first thoughts my dd came up with. Dakota was one of our horses name I really like Heely! Kinda different. Patches was a cat I had growing up. Keep the names coming and hopefully by sometime tomorrow we'll make a decision!

Patches is what I thought too because of all the different patches of color all over. She is just a doll.

What a sweetheart!
We are heeler people. Our present girl (an animal shelter rescue, about 2 1/2 or 3 yrs old) is named Pepper. We've had blue heelers named Blue, Easy, and a red heeler named Rusty.
Hope your daughter finds the perfect name for her.

She wants a name that is not to girlie, something "spunky" as she says. So bring on the names! She is a blue heeler.
I'd call her Moxie.....meaning full of spunk and life! I named a kitten this once....even as a newborn she had to be the first to eat, pushing her brother and sisters out of the way. She was the first to make friends with the dogs, the first to figure out how to get on the kitchen table...and the list goes on. She was just a foster so I didn't get to keep her, but she was definitly full of Moxie!!!!

We used to have heelers too. They are such smart, independent, loyal, and loving dogs! I like the name Pepper. Or Spark or Dash.
