Default My doll made from quilting fabrics

This my doll. I made her body from cotton muslin. Her face is painted with oil paint and then varnished. Her pantaloons and underslip are made from cotton. I made her calico dress and bonnet are made from 100% cotton. Her socks are cotton and her shoes are leather, made from leather opera gloves. I had no patterns, but had a 50 year old doll made from a pattern from the 1890's which I modeled her after.

These dolls always fascinate me. Over the years I've collected many patterns but never made one. Congrats on your beautiful doll.

Great job. I love making dolls but haven't done it for ages.
