I am trying to get a quilt sandwiched to start quilting it. I spread it out on the table and all of a sudden a lump appeared. I'm thinking----I know I smoothed the batting out. So I went to smooth it out again and they lump made a noise...... :-o

Isn't that always the way!
My cleo lies right next to my hip when I quilt or applique at night. If I dare to disturb her, she'll meow as if to say "must you!"
I am hand quilting a king size bed quilt, so it's easier for me to support the weight by laying it on my bed, and I use a large oval hand frame on a lap stand. Of course, she has to lie right in the middle of the quilt, and if I have to shift position, or get up to go potty, she's right in the way. I find that I'll sit there and wait, so as not to disturb her. Isn't that crazy. What we won't do for our beloveds.
