This is what my needlework group at the Senior Center does too! Has your group joined Care Wear Volunteers yet? I just got my newsletter the other day. There is always directions for something I work up quick. Congrads to you and your group! Joanne

Bless you for your efforts. Post the patterns and maybe many of us can do the same here in our communities.

If you come across any patterns that would be useful for a project like this I would love to do that. I love to crochet in the evenings in the winter.
TIA

Those are all really sweet. Bless you and your group for doing this. I make blankets/hats/cocoons and more for a hospital in need for newborns and preemies as well. Never thought about the fact that some of those preemies might not make it and there is no blanket for them. Perhaps I should make some preemie blankets as well. What a blessing for the parents to receive your gifts. I absolutely love to read about all of you who do charity work.

I have been sewing clothes and blankets for preemies for over 10 years with a group called Threads of love. I think there are over 100 chapters around the U.S. http://www.threadsoflove.org
