You sound like me. I just need a plain phone. And actually that phone looks something like the one I have without the added dial. I still have the same phone from almost 5 years ago. By now could of had 2 new phones, but had to re-new contract. Phone works...Not broke...why replace it ?

Too funny! The reverse of that is when my parents needed to have their phone serviced and the young repairman came to the house and had no idea what to do. Now granted this was more than 20 years ago, but their phones were still hardwired into the wall. Poor guy had never even seen that! They had to get an older repair guy!

They now have simple phones out that just phone. I was at the Rogers store a couple of weeks ago and they had two models with large buttons and loud volume and they wouldn't do anything but phone. They were only $9.99 with the basic plan for three years. I think a lot of seniors really like them.

I got a cell phone a few yrs ago and had them take texting option off and messages too. Anything that would cost me extra. i only want it for a phone and mostly for emergencies when in the car. cheaper that way!

You have to be careful of your coverage with phones. We live in an area in the country that only AT&T phones can work in.

I'm the same way. Just give me a basic phone. But I have moved up to texting and have a phone with a decent keyboard.

I love that dialer phone - what a cute idea !!

My Kids don't even know what a rotary phone is is! I did have one when the older 2 were babies but my youngest is 18 & he has only seen pictures of 'em. (He was my surprise child.)
