I was going to go to Joanns, however, with 16 - 20 inches of snow forecasted I'm not. I have the day off of work (work in a school district) I'm staying home and quilting. If the power goes out because of the storm, it's going to get ugly at home!!! Think spring!!! Think really hard.

I didn't go to the Hancock Fabrics sale - and gosh it was a great one (by what I saw in the flyer)
50% off some fabrics.. I was good! I knew if I went - I would not be good

No Joanns near but Hancock has good sales today too. I have their free calendar with tear off coupons every month. I sew costumes for our community theater and they are great about giving us tax exempt. Plus I get all the leftovers. Most fun to sew are the Shakespeare costumes with brocades and velvets and much ornamentation. Hardest to sew are the ones for Shakespeare also! We are doing a military salute soon and need to find patterns for WWII womens uniforms. Tried military surplus stores with no luck.
