naked lady lily
#21
We've lived in this house for less than a year so we were delighted to find hardy amaryllis planted here. My 13 year old granddaughter was visiting when my hubby came in and asked me "Did you see all the naked ladies out front?" She about went into shock! WHAATTT???!!! LOL

We called them Surprise Lily were I lived in MO. IA is always a week or two behind MO in growing. Mine have been blooming for several days. I've never cut mine, didn't realize they smelled so good. I'll have to cut some.

How funny, I was born in Danville, Indiana! Guess mom taught me what she was raised calling them.
