Is there a Board name for Squishies that don't have fabric in them? I am dieing here, waiting for two 'squishies' that have quilt books in them. Would they be 'Hardies'? Lol.

Sorry Beachlady, I hope you didn't choke. I only asked if there was already a name. Can anyone else come up with something?

Firmies is good. Probably better than my idea. Either way, I think it will be another three or four days before these books get to me Sigh.

Yes, Bearisgrey, ones with books in, as opposed to ones with fabric it. I am currently waiting (with bated breath) for TWO, one with two books in it, and the other with three.

    LaceLady -

Sometimes "package" refers to what men exhibit in their Speedos.

Two Kaleidoscopes (the One Block Wonder types) because I have enjoyed seeing several on this board, two of Sharon Schamber, because I LOVE her style of quilting, and one of Gaudynski's books as I like her quilting too. (Think I've spelt her name right)

Since the ones I am waiting for have books in them, I think they will have to be parcels. I will let you all know when my Firmies arrive, because I am likely to be quiet for a while.

They'd either be "Hardies" or "Sofites", depending on whether they are hard-cover or soft-cover books?

just looked up 'squishy' in a thesaurus and the only antonyms are what we've come up with - other than rigid - 'rigidy'? LOL http://thesaurus.reference.com/browse/squishy
