Default Nancy's Notions/Hancocks of Paducah

Last week I asked if it was worth stopping at Hancock's of Paducah and Nancy's Notions. Happy to report I stopped at them both within 24 hours and loved each shop. Hancock's is large but I was prepared with what I wanted to purchase. Got some great backings for quilts I need to finish. Nancy's was nice and had great customer service. My DH enjoyed talking with all the ladies.

Thanks for the info about Nancy's. I love Hancocks and come out of there with a few hundred dollars short in my wallet. I meet women in the checkout lane and have great conversations with them about quilting. And I usually feel better because they are spending more than me !

Wanabee Quiltin, my wallet was a few hundred shy also when leaving both places. I figure that is just part of our travel expenses! lol

We were there mid-week just after lunch. Not many people there, but nice shop with friendly staff. I would return to Nancy's.
