I vote for sewing two at a time together like a pillow, stuffing them with batting scraps and donating them to a shelter for cats and small dog beds. Everyone talks about dog beds, but cats love soft things to lay on.

Just adding my vote to using them in your quilting. They work fine, as others have said. Use them as is for large blocks of color or cut them down into quarters or smaller to suit your pattern. Have fun!!

I like to put a design in the corner and offer them as a basket liner.
Usually around a loaf of tea bread.
