Does anyone know of a Canadian supplier of the Watersorb crystals (also known as water absorbing polymers) that are used in making the neck cooler scarves? I need to make a bunch of them and can't find anything on the internet other than suppliers in the USA. Customs will nail me, I'm sure, if they even allow them to cross the border.

Garden supply stores should carry them, that is where I find them in Walmart. :wink:

Thanks... I've tried all the garden shops, Home Depot, Canadian Tire and will try Walmart tomorrow (it has such a small garden section, though, that I doubt they'll have it if ourlarge garden centres don't).

I know when my DD was a baby there were "water" absorbing crystals in her Luvs diapers. It startled me when the lining would break and there would be "jell" on her bottom. Maybe try to rip open an unused diaper.
