Sing Happy Birthday for a few days and he or she'll get over it.

What kind of group is this? I think your song choice is going to depend on the audience. All the ones I've seen so far are really "girlie". I was a summer camp director for a Boy Scout summer program and our happy song was "My Port-a-Pottie" (sounded like the My Buddy doll jingle). Those boys REALLY loved their port-a-pottie.

Audience is everything.

How about - "If You're Happy and You Know It Clap Your Hands"
It can go on and on until nobody's happy anymore.

Who is the volunteer camp for? Some songs might have more meaning to women, than to children, for example.

This isn't what you're looking for but I got Bye, Bye Love by the Ditty Bops- love how they do it :D
I heard it one day in Bath & Body Works and the clerk was nice enough to find out who was singing it so I could run home and download it :D

I think You are My Sunshine is such a cute camp song!!
