I have a fur stole that belonged to my mother and grandmother-in excellent shape.

I would like to make something with it for my daughter and cousins. I have seen ornament mittens with the fur around the top. That was cute.

Was wondering if anyone has some other suggestions?

Thank you in advance.

Quilting hugs, Ruth

trim on a hat would be nice. or, for fun, trim the top of a quilted purse.

I have a friend who made a teddy bear from her mother's mink. Used the lining for the foot pads. So adorable!

Thanks for the idea. I'm decluttering and found in a loaded closet a full length mink coat an elderly neighbor gave me some years ago. For whatever reason, she felt it necessary to remove the lining!! I put it in the closet "for later" which hasn't arrived yet, but the Teddy Bears sound lovely. The coat is still soft and flowing, I'll have to check up on what needles to use on it.
